Our 2025 season began with our first ever live recital, a brilliant addition to our Black History Month recital series, featuring baritone Moses Possible and pianist Elina Galletta in a recital ranging from spirituals, to aria and art song, to a world premiere song cycle by Lorna Young-Wright.
Cabaret français

Cabaret français will be a Gala concert, featuring works by Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel, Maurice Chevalier, Michel Legrand, Yves Montand, Edith Piaf, Francis Poulenc, Cole Porter, Erik Satie, Kurt Weill, and more. Making their WCO debuts in this concert are baritones Chris Drago Fistonich and Daniel Neer. Returning to the Wilmington, Delaware company are soprani Claire Galloway, Kirsten C. Kunkle, Marisa Robinson, tenor Matt Mangus, and baritone Kevin Patrick. Also returning to Wilmington Concert Opera for this event is pianist Reese Revak.

Les Contes d’hoffmann (In french with supertitles)

Join a fabulous cast of new and old WCO performers for Les contes d’Hoffmann, a tour of Paris through the literary works of E. T. A. Hoffmann and the sparkling music of Offenbach. Our first opera in French, it is a story of fantasy, intrigue, and delightful musical moments that will leave you humming. Sunday’s matinee performance features themed craft activities at 2:00 PM for one and all, followed by a sensory friendly performance at 3:00 PM, with snacks, fidgets, and break space provided for all ages.
